Prayer Intentions

Submit your prayer intention

Following the example of the Apostles gathered around Mary after the Resurrection, let us pray together united in faith.

You can share your intentions here, so that they can be included in the hearts of all who pray daily with Magnificat. (Only your first name will appear as the intention’s signature).

Your prayer intentions will also be entrusted to the Franciscan Sisters, T.O.R of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother.

Additionally, Fr. Sebastian White, o.p., will celebrate Mass each month for Magnificat readers, especially for the intentions entrusted here.

Please do not include any identifying information in your prayer intention.

Mains en prière

Prayer is powerful, let us never lose the courage of prayer – Pope Francis

In loving memory of my mother, Hope Aurora on her first Mother’s Day in heaven. May her soul rest in the peace and light of Christ, and may her love continue to guide and comfort us until we meet again.

For the repose of the soul of our blessed shepherd, Pope Francis, and for complete healing from cancer for my husband (Ken) and sister (Alice). Gentle and loving Lord, please have mercy.

For all unborn babies

For my son, that a faithful Catholic girl will come into his life. That they will marry and raise a family.

For healing for my son and daughter-in-law’s marriage. For compassion, kindness and forgiveness as they work toward that reconciliation.

Please Dear Lord, I pray you will heal my 14 month old grandson from pneumonia. He is not yet baptized and I’m in fear for his soul. Please give his parents the opportunity to have him baptized. I pray Mother Mary wraps this baby in her arms and heals him. I thank you for hearing my prayers.

Repose of the soul of Bob Boyles, may he rest in peace. Comfort and peace for his children, Debbie & Lisa and his family. For Davi, to know she is loved and to come to her senses and to be safe. For Jon, Susan. Phil, return to health and peace in the suffering. Strength and peace for families.

For all that pray the Magnificat please include our son Nathan, keep him protected, healed, shielded and absolved from accuses. Amen

Please pray for all those that are battling dementia and other mental disorders. For those battling heart disease, cancer.

of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother

Founded in 1988 to renew the contemplative dimension of the early Franciscan penitents, we are a contemplative-active community who have been captured by the merciful love of Christ, the fulfillment and desire of every human heart.

Seized by this love, we cannot help but freely give our lives to glorify God and make known His merciful Love through prayer and works of mercy.
