Meet the new Editor-in-Chief of Magnificat
Father Philip Nolan, o.p.
I grew up in Williamstown, Massachusetts, along with my two sisters and my brother. After graduating from Williams College, I worked in journalism in New York City for two years before joining the Dominicans of the Province of St. Joseph in 2015. I was ordained a priest in 2022, finished my studies a year later, and have since been serving in full-time parochial ministry, while occasionally writing for various outlets. Many years ago, my parents introduced me to Magnificat. I’m honored to now take on the role of the Editor-in-Chief at a publication that has nourished my faith and continues to draw more and more Catholics into a life of deeper prayer.
